Honors for Donahue Academy Students

Students at the Donahue Academy of Ave Maria have garnered national and state-wide honors recently. Andrew Guernsey was named a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist, scoring in the top one percent of all test takers, and Mary Traver, who graduated in the spring, won a $5,000 scholarship from the Florida Realtors Association. The school also reports its SAT scores are 350 points above the Collier County average.

Donahue Shamrocks Fall 47-25 to Cape Coral Christian

Matt Houde scored three touchdowns -- all in different ways -- but the Donahue Academy Shamrocks lost 47-25 to last year's division champs, Cape Coral Christian School. It was the Shamrocks' first loss of the season.

Schwartz Investments Opens Office in Ave Maria
