Jim Towey Will Be Officially Installed as AMU President Friday

Two bishops will be among those participating in the official investiture of Jim Towey as Ave Maria's second president Friday morning. The events take place in the Ave Maria Oratory and are open to the public. Shamrocks Seniors to be Recognized at Saturday's Football Game

For eight players who have been on the Donahue Academy sixman football squad since its inaugural season in 2009, this is their last season -- they'll be graduating in the spring. The seniors will be recognized on Senior Night at the Shamrocks' next game against Nicea Academy Saturday, Oct. 8, at North Park.

UPDATE: Boil Water Notice Rescinded

The Ave Maria Utility Company has rescinded a precautionary "boil water notice" it issued Saturday after a power failure overnight reduced pressure to the pumps. Tests on water samples showed the water was fine.
Bishop Dewane Blesses New Chapel at Donahue Academy

Bishop Frank Dewane blessed the new Blessed John Paul II Chapel at the Donahue Academy in Ave Maria Thursday. The chapel was made possible in part from a donation by Ambassador Michael Novak in honor of his late wife, Karen Laub Novak.
