Shamrocks Seniors to be Recognized at Saturday's Football Game

For eight players who have been on the Donahue Academy sixman football squad since its inaugural season in 2009, this is their last season -- they'll be graduating in the spring. The seniors will be recognized on Senior Night at the Shamrocks' next game against Nicea Academy Saturday, Oct. 8, at North Park.

The eight players will be recognized along with their partents at a special ceremony at the start of the game. They're listed below along with the names of their parents:

Julian Gonzalez; Mary and Don Stuller
Nick Jaroma; Erika and John Jaroma
Michael Dauphinais; Nancy and Michael Dauphinais
Mike Klein; Mary Jo and Darryl Klein
Jake Schneider; Megan and Scott Schneider
Gabe Allan; Chelsea and Scott Allan
Joe and Andrew Guernsey; Lisa and Dan Guernsey

The Shamrocks are 5-1 so far this season and the seniors, along with their teammates, are hoping to go out in glory by making the playoffs this year.
