AMU Students For Life Gala Remembers Jon Scharfenberger

 The group's seventh annual dinner was dedicated to Jon Scharfenberger, the recent graduate who died from injuries suffered in a car accident while working for the Students for Life national organization. Donahue Shamrocks Undefeated in Regular Sixman Football Season

 The Donahue Academy Shamrocks beat Westwood Christian in Miami 40-18 in the final game of the regular sixman football season to finish with a perfect 9-0 record. The Shamrocks will meet Northside Christian Academy of Jacksonville Nov. 11 at North Park in Ave Maria for their first playoff game. Paul Roney to Step Down as AMU CFO

P aul Roney, who has been the chief financial officer for Ave Maria University since its inception, will be leaving that role at the end of the year, AMU President Jim Towey announced in emails to Ave Maria personnel. He'll be succeeded by current AMU Budget Director Gene Munin, who joined the university recently after serving as budget director for the City of Chicago.
