All Saints Eve in the Piazza

 Saints and angels, heroes and archangels, princesses and a few superheroes took over La Piazza in downtown Ave Maria Monday afternoon for the town's annual All Saints Eve festivities.
They played games created by town merchants, participated in a costume contest and -- of course -- found their way to numerous candy dishes set up outside the shops.
First-place in the costume contest went to Mary Elizabeth Klein, Colleen Kilpatrick and Hannah Waldstein who portrayed St. Helena and two of her attendants. Pictured: Colleen at left, Mary Elizabeth as St. Helena in the center and Hannah on the right.
Far left, Robbie Klucik (left) took 2nd place as St. (Doubting) Thomas and Luke Klein (right) was judged in 3rd place for his St. Tarcisius costume.
