It's A Go! Arthrex Will Build Ave Maria Facility

Medical-device maker Arthrex announced Friday that it will proceed with its plans to build a 160,000-square-foot manufacturing facility off Oil Well Rd. in Ave Maria. Arthrex also said in a news release that it will embark on a significant expansion initiative in Lee County, purchasing a 240,000-square-foot building to consolidate its warehouse, packaging and distribution operations. The company appears to have abandoned its original plans to expand its North Naples operations, which are in the district of Collier County Commissioner Georgia Hiller, who opposed Collier County incentives for Arthrex.
