AMU Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Ave Maria University is marking its 10th anniversary this week with a series of events, culminating with a busy Saturday, Oct. 12, that will feature the announcement of a new project dedicated to Mother Teresa, the first home football game on campus, and a Birthday BBQ for the entire Ave Maria community.

Donahue Fields 11-man Football Team for First Time

The Donahue Academy junior varsity football team had a different look on the field Saturday -- 11 players instead of the usual seven. The school's first 11-man squad beat Marco Island 13-6, and will play one more contest although there are no plans to play a full 11-man schedule.
