Jerry Krueger Retires from Ave Maria Development

Medical Services in Ave Maria Expand Significantly

The opening of a new medical office Sept. 3 will add a walk-in clinic, OB/GYN services, internal medicine and pediatrics to the array of services available in Ave Maria, which already include dermatology, dentistry and a chiropractor.

Outpouring of Community Support Helps Nuns Acquire New Van

 Spontaneous donations from people in Ave Maria raised more than $7,000 in a week and helped the Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist replace their aging, broken-down van. Above, Sisters John Paul, Albert Marie, Mary Martha and Maria Veritas in their new Honda Odyssey van.

Donahue Shamrocks Dominant in Football Opener

The Donahue Academy Shamrocks won their season opening 7-man football game Saturday night, shutting out Community Christian in Port Charlotte 36-0 in a game shortened by weather.
