FOCUS Missionaries Growing, Bonding at Ave Maria

 Yes it's hot, and yes those insects are really big, but despite that, hundreds of young missionaries with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students are finding Ave Maria to be a good place to concentrate on developing skills for their challenge of outreach to Catholics on college campuses across the United States. Gas Station Finally Open for Business

 The Mobil gas station and mini mart in Ave Maria finally opened Friday morning after a series of false starts dating back more than five years. Above, Sr. Teresa Benedicta got the first fill-up – which was complimentary -- from station owner Phil Toye (center) and manager Daniel Kim.

Ave Maria Now Home to Company Importing Olive Oil, Wine

 Lena Anastasiades and her husband Michael O'Neill, residents of Emerson Park, are working to bring to American tables olive oils from Cypriot groves planted 200 years ago, and a wine said to be a favorite of Cleopatra and Antony as well as Richard the Lionhearted.
