AMU Receives State Approval for Nursing Program

The Florida Board of Nursing has approved a nursing program at Ave Maria University, President Jim Towey announced Thursday. The first nursing graduates will receive degrees in the 2016-2017 academic year.

 Inexplicably, false stories that suggest Ave Maria has unconstitutional restrictions on its residents are popping up again on internet sites and on MSNBC. The stories are just as wrong now as they were when they reported at the opening of Ave Maria in 2007.
