AMSCD Meeting Hears Updates; Takes Little Action

The Ave Maria Stewardship Community District board heard updates on a number of pending actions at its meeting Tuesday, but took no action because matters including a revision to golf cart rules, establishment of a design review board, and potential infrastructure bonds for Maple Ridge require further study.

AMU Notches 1st Football Win This Season

 The Ave Maria football team picked up its first win of the season Saturday afternoon, outlasting the visiting Concordia College (Ala.) Hornets 16-12. Commissioner's Comments Don't Satisfy Several Residents

 Many Ave Maria residents left a meeting Wednesday with County Commissioner Tim Nance dissatisfied that he did not appear to support their efforts to slow down consideration of development proposals that include creating a commercial/industrial park near the town's entrance.
