Good Friday Observance Schedule Changed

The Quasi-Parish of the Ave Maria Oratory has announced a change in the schedule for Good Friday. The Liturgy of the Lord's Passion now will be at 3 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. The Living Stations of the Cross, by the Ave Maria Youth Group, will be at 2 p.m.

AMU to Confer 3 Honorary Degrees at Commencement

The university will give degrees to Thomas Hilgers, Fran Sehn and the Rev. Frank Pavone during its graduation the weekend of May 8.

The oratory was filled Sunday afternoon with classical music of the Passion performed by the AMU choirs and a professional orchestra (above). The night before, the town center was rocking with the annual Battle of the Bands outside The Bean.
