Crowds Throng Ave Maria for Steak and Other Pursuits

Clouds of charcoal smoke billowed over the Ave Maria town center for the third annual Sunshine State Steak Cook Off, one of a number of activities that took place on a busy Saturday in town. A grill team headed by Ave Maria resident Jim Hess took top honors in the steak competition.

Large Group from Ave Maria Heads to March for Life

More than 200 people from Ave Maria, including students and residents, will be in Washington, D.C., for the annual March for Life on Friday, Jan. 25. This year's march marks the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion. Above, AMU students boarding a bus Wednesday night for the 21-hour trip.
