Ave Maria Parish Leading 1st 40 Days for Life Vigil

Father Robert Tatman, pastor of the Ave Maria quasi parish, will lead a prayer vigil outside Planned Parenthood in Naples Wednesday, marking the start of this year's 40 Days for Life activities.The parish is joining hundreds of other cities around the world in participating in 40 Days for Life. Collier Commissioners Nix Proposal for Jackson Lab Referendum

A Naples resident's proposal for a mail-in referendum on whether Collier County should subsidize the proposed Jackson Lab project died at Tuesday's commissioner's meeting when a motion to take up the question at a future meeting failed to get a second. Click for story from the News-Press
