Ave Maria Choirs To Perform in Naples and Ave Maria

The combined choirs will perform Fauré's Requiem in D Minor and other works in contrasting venues -- a general concert Oct. 29 in Naples and for a Solemn High Requiem Mass for All Soul's Day Nov. 2 in the Ave Maria Oratory. (Above, the choir in a performance in the oratory in the spring.)

Coalition of Immokalee Workers Reach First Pact with Tomato Grower

The farmworkers organization, which has been advocating for many years for increased payment to farmworkers, reached an agreement with Pacific Tomato Growers. Miami Archbishop Thomas Wenski congratulated both sides and said he applauded "the courage and commitment of all of the leaders in these two groups" and said he hoped for "sustained change and social responsibility for the industry."

Ave Maria Choraliers Starting New Season
