Plans to broadcast Catholic radio on a low-power FM station in Ave Maria have cleared one hurdle – purchasing the FCC license from the original licensee – but much remains to be done, including raising enough money to get on the air.

Donahue Wins 52-20 to Advance in Playoffs

 The Donahue Academy Shamrocks beat Academy of the Lakes 52-20 at North Park in Ave Maria Friday night to advance to the second round of the playoffs. The team's four seniors -- Dominic Allan, Anthony Altomari, Mark Scheck and Eric Peterson were recognized at halftime.

AMU Reshapes Plans for Performing Arts Venue; Myra Daniels No Longer Involved

Ambitious plans for a 1,250-seat performing arts center at Ave Maria University have been shelved in favor of a smaller venue and Myra Daniels, founder of Artis-Naples, says she now has no involvement with the project.
