New Religious Shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe on AMU Campus

Fun at the Celebration of Lights - Til the Rains Came

The skating rink (above in photo by Erin Campbell) was popular again this year at the Ave Maria Celebration of Lights. The first rain in the event's history, which came during the annual parade, forced an early end to festivities.

AMU Will Host Conference on Religious Liberty

An all-day conference at Ave Maria University Dec. 9 will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vatican II document Dignitatis Humanae and will feature a number of scholars examining the document and its subject, religious liberty. The conference is open to the public.

Donahue Advances to State Championship

Elias Allan threw a 40-yard touchdown strike to Anthony Altomari in the closing seconds of a closely-fought game and the Donahue Academy Shamrocks moved on to the state championship game with a 36-30 win over the City of Life Warriors Friday night. The championship game is Saturday, Dec. 12, against Clearwater Academy and will be played on a neutral field in Lakeland.
