Petitions Submitted Seeking Direct Elections for AMSCD

vote1A process for directly electing at least one of the seats on the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District reached its first milestone Tuesday when resident Robert Klucik handed over petitions seeking the move at the district's board meeting.

Local Ave Maria Teams Again Take Top Steak Cook Off Honors

A team sponsored by Ave Maria jeweler Alan Beckner won first prize at the Sunshine State Steak Cook Off Saturday, beating 17 other teams from Florida that served up a total of 1,800 steaks at the popular event. Four Donahue Shamrocks Receive All-State Football Honors
