Bishop Frank Dewane blessed and dedicated new additions to the Oratory at Mass Saturday morning concelebrated with 17 other priests. Many of the priests were in Ave Maria for the Festival of Religious Life that got under way Friday night.

It's now officially The Rhodora J. Donahue Academy. Mrs. Donahue and her husband, Jack, were honored Friday afternoon at the school with speeches, gifts and songs.

Update: Law School Move to FL Approved; Timing for Move to Ave Maria Not Set

The Ave Maria School of Law has received a go-ahead from the American Bar Association for its move to the former AMU Vineyards campus from Ann Arbor, MI. There is no set date, however, for an eventual move to the town of Ave Maria, according to the school's acting dean, Eugene Milhizer.

AMU Rugby Squad Off to Winning Start

A new AMU rugby team is preparing for its second-ever inter-collegiate game this weekend after winning its first game last weekend. All are welcome to watch the team play its next game Saturday at 2 p.m. at the AMU soccer field.

Daniel Vivas led AMU with 22 points as the Gyrenes won their final home game of the season. The season concludes this weekend with a tournament Trinity Baptist tournament in Jacksonville.
