Experienced PGA Player and Instructor is New AMU Golf Coach

Dennis Meyer, Ave Maria University's new golf coach, brings a wealth of professional playing and teaching experience to the school's golf program. He'll coach both the men's team as well as the new women's golf team that will start play in the coming academic year.

Ave Maria University Reaches Out to Parish Priests with Unique Program

AMU has launched an effort to involve more priests in the mission of the university, in part by providing financial aid for students that priests recommend to the school.

AMSCD July 7 Meeting Canceled

The July meeting of the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District has been canceled as there are no matters requiring the board's immediate attention. The next meeting is Tuesday, Aug. 4, at which the 2010 fiscal year budget will be presented and voted on. The Ave Herald will provide details of the budget as soon as they are available.

AMU Men's Basketball Coach Prepares for New Season

copeland1Jamon Copeland, the new AMU men's basketball coach, has signed 15 recruits to play for the Gyrenes in the coming season. He talked about the challenges of coaching to a packed Ave Maria Founders Club meeting at The Bean Tuesday night.
