"Do not let your hearts be troubled," Fr. Frank Pavone told the AMU Class of 2009 at a Baccalaureate Mass Friday afternoon. Following the mass, Fr. Pavone, head of Priests for Life, received an honorary doctorate degree. Above, he greets graduate Tara Beresford as students filed out of the oratory.

Publix On Track to Open in Next 2 Months

Landscaping and painting the exterior are almost complete, and crews from Publix have begun to install equipment in the facility. A Publix spokesperson says no specific opening date has been set, but the grocery chain is targeting the end of June.

AMU Graduation Events Begin Friday

More than 100 students will receive undergraduate or graduate degrees at the commencement Saturday. The Baccalaureate Mass, celebrated by Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life, will be at 2 p.m. in the oratory. Residents can attend the mass, which will be followed by a reception in La Piazza courtesy of Ave Maria businesses.
