Karate Classes Offered

Karate classes will begin at the Donahue Academy Tuesday evening. All students and town residents over age 6 can participate. The classes are taught in 4-week sessions by Lynn Kureth (left) of the Minamidojo karate school, who holds a 5th-degree black belt..

Little Concern Expressed about Control of AMSCD

Residents interviewed by The Ave Herald, and others who appeared on a video produced by the Naples Daily News, seem relatively unconcerned at this time with the structure of the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District. Blake Gable, the project manager for Ave Maria, says in the third article in a series that the suggestion that the developers could control the town in perpetuity is a "silly notion. When you develop real estate, the whole goal is, you develop it, you move on."

Saying that the Naples Daily News is "perpetuating information that is false and damaging," Ave Maria Development has asked the newspaper to give high visibility to a series of articles the developers would submit responding to the series "A Town Without a Vote."
