Arbitrator: 3-2 Vote Can Approve Proposed Ave Maria Zoning Change

A simple 3-2 majority of Collier County Commissioners is sufficient to approve zoning changes within Ave Maria and its surrounding Rural Land Stewardship Area, an arbitrator has decided. The issue came up because of a request to move 50 acres where commercial development is permitted to a site on Oil Well Rd. proposed for the Jackson Laboratory.
