JP Klucik Selected for West Point Summer Program

 Ave Maria high school student JP Klucik is off to New York to participate in a one-week Summer Leadership Experience program at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. The program accepts only a fifth of the 5,000 high school juniors who apply.

Accomplished Donahue Academy senior Dominic Allan is featured in the Naples Daily News in its annual series on "Graduates of Distinction." He'll be attending Ave Maria University in the fall and plans on a career in medicine.

Many parents and staff at the Donahue Academy in Ave Maria are seeking more information about a recent action by the board of directors not to renew contracts of three popular staff and faculty and the resignation of two of the five members on the board of the Catholic K-12 school.

AMU and Ave Maria Law Encouraged by Supreme Court Obamacare Decision

The U.S. Supreme Court granted significant relief to religiously-affiliated organizations opposed to the Obamacare birth control mandate, but a decision Monday made no ruling on the merits of the question and sent the matter back to the appeals courts to try to resolve. Both Ave Maria University and the Ave Maria School of Law were encouraged
