JP Klucik Selected for West Point Summer Program

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point and Ave Maria high school student JP Klucik will be sizing each other up for the next week.
JP was accep
ted into West Point's Summer Leadership Experience, a one-week program for high school juniors that West Point considers good candidates for admission to the academy More than 5,000 applied this year of whom 1,000 were accepted. SLE attendees live in the cadet barracks, eat in the Cadet Mess, and participate in academic, leadership, athletic, and military workshops. They also participate in virtual-reality war simulation, and military and physical fitness training.
JP is home schooled through the Seton Home Study school and is captain of the Donahue Shamrocks football team. Later this summer, he will be in Nicaragua for three weeks working for the Guadalupe Gardens mission.
Should JP decide to apply to West Point and is accepted there, he'll be following in the footsteps of his father, Ave Maria attorney Robb Klucik who is a West Point graduate himself.
