The proposed budget for the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District's coming fiscal year is essentially flat, with no increase in homeowners' assessments. An increase of almost three percent in irrigation fees, however, is being proposed.
Fall Mass Schedule Brings Back Vigil Mass in Oratory

Ave Maria students, residents and visitors will again have the option of a Vigil Mass on Saturday beginning in September, when a 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday will be added to the liturgical schedule.
Tara Ladewski, who has brightened the Queen Mary Pub in Ave Maria since it opened almost three years ago, is moving up north in August. She'll be at the pub Thursday evening -- not working for a change -- if people want to stop by to wish her well.
The Naples Daily News said in an editorial Sunday that it is endorsing Jim Coletta for re-election as county commissioner for District 5, which includes Ave Maria. The newspaper calls Mr. Coletta, who is a long-time supporter of Ave Maria, "a steady hand at the wheel when we need it — through tough times and our delicate economic comeback."
