Celebration of Lights Draws Large Crowd to Ave Maria

Several thousands of people came to the annual Celebration of Lights in Ave Maria Friday night for music, food, a parade, games and, of course, a visit from Santa. The outdoor skating rink (above) was a hit in its second year at the festival.

The traditional advent service will be held in the Ave Maria Oratory at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, featuring the Ave Maria University Choirs accompanied by and ensemble of professional musicians.
