AMU Women's Soccer, Volleyball Teams Prevail

Queen Mary Pub Packed for Opening

 The first full-service restaurant and bar in Ave Maria -- The Queen Mary Pub and Grille -- opened Friday to an enthusiastic clientele who praised its food and atmosphere. Above, pub owners Monica and Daniel Dix watch as Fr. Robert McTeigue blesses the establishment (and the beer) at its opening.

Ave Maria Contingent to Protest at Planned Parenthood Monday

Aat least 20 residents and students will be going to the Planned Parenthood Clinic in Naples Monday morning, the first day the clinic will perform abortions, according to Elaine Doerrfeld, leader of the parish Respect Life Committee . The group will be leaving in carpools after the 7:30 a.m. Mass and anyone interested in joining should meet after the Mass on the north side of the oratory.
