Caroling and Pageant on Christmas Eve

There will be caroling with the children's choir beginning 20 minutes before the 5 p.m. Mass at the oratory on Christmas Eve. All are welcome. The children will also perform a Christmas pageant. For the full Christmas Mass schedule, click here.

Special Christmas Eve Illumination Planned

Many Ave Maria residents plan on putting out "luminaries" this Christmas Eve -- little candle lanterns made from small paper bags that line a roadway or driveway.  They're available at the Quik Pack & Ship in the town center.

Historical Novel by AMU Student is Published

 Nathan Sadasivan (above), a junior at Ave Maria University, has written an epic trilogy set during the Crusades. The first volume, Crown of the World -- Knight of the Temple, was published in the summer of 2009.

UPDATE: County Commissioners Approve Oil Well Rd. Project

The long-awaited project to widen Oil Well Rd. got the green light Tuesday from the Collier County Board of Commissioners. Construction will likely start by February.
