Ave Maria Blvd. Entrance to Ave Maria to Close Temporarily

Ave Maria Development has announced that the main entrance to Ave Maria at Ave Maria Blvd. and Oil Well Rd. will close for about four weeks beginning June 14 because of construction work on the widening of Oil Well Rd. All traffic entering and leaving Ave Maria will need to use the entrance at Camp Keais Rd. and Pope John Paul II Blvd. during this time.

No Change in Assessments in Proposed AMSCD Budget

The proposed budget for the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1 has no major changes from the current year, and there is no increase in residents' assessments. The proposed budget will be discussed at the district meeting June 8, along with a proposal to increase water rates and several other topics, including issues relating to safe operation of golf carts on district roads.

Donahue Academy to Graduate Seven After Year of Growth

The K-12 school in Ave Maria concludes its third year with graduation exercises Friday. Its enrollment continues to grow, and the school expects more than 200 students next year.
