Donahue Wins 1st Girls Basketball Game; AMU Women Lose Home Opener

The AMU women lost a closely-fought game to the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras 58-52 in the first game ever played at the new Golisano Field House, which will be opened officially Saturday.

Hole-in-One for Bobby Oshinsky

Del Webb resident Bobby Oshinsky (kneeling above with Carlos Figueroa) shot his first ever hole-in-one Wednesday on the third hole at the Panther Run golf course. Mr. Oshinsky, 70, used a six iron on the 152-yard par-3 hole.

Fr. McTeigue to Profess Final Jesuit Vows Saturday

mcteigue3In a ceremony unique to the Jesuit order, Fr. Robert McTeigue will make his profession of final vows at a ceremony and Mass in the Ave Maria oratory Saturday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m. Fr. McTeigue will renew the vows he made as a novice almost two decades ago and, he says, "The Society of Jesus will make an unconditional commitment to me."
