AMU Graduates Largest Class Ever at 2015 Commencement

Ave Maria University's largest graduating class to date received diplomas Saturday -- 202 bachelor's degrees and 27 graduate degrees. Above, the traditional hat toss by graduates following the Baccalaureate Mass Friday.

New Leadership at Donahue Academy

Gina Code has resigned as headmaster at the Rhodora Donahue Academy in Ave Maria, a statement from the school's board of directors announced Thursday. Mrs. Code, who has been at Donahue less than a year, will be replaced on an interim basis by Donahue teacher Mark Jahnke.

AMU Hires New Athletic Director

 Ave Maria University has announced the hiring of its new Director of Athletics, Kimberley King, who starts this month. Mrs. King has more than 20 years of experience in athletic administration and coaching, AMU said in a news release, most recently at the State University of New York at Binghamton.

AMU's Shakespeare in Performance troupe has recently finished up eleven packed performances of Shakespeare's A Midsummer's Night Dream and director Travis Curtright is already setting his sights forward to next year.
