Oil Well Rd Project Will Create Recreational Lake in Ave Maria

Pits dug for fill near the entrance to Ave Maria will create two new lakes, one of which will be available for recreational uses such as boating or fishing, reported Barron Collier's Tom Sansbury Tuesday at the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District Meeting. The road widening project will be awarded by year-end.

Diverse Panel to Explore "Caritas in Veritate"

Panelists with backgrounds in philanthropy, business, economics, law and academia will discuss the recent papal encyclical on Catholic social teaching, Caritas in Veritate at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the Ave Maria University academic building lecture hall. All are welcome.

 Sculptor Márton Váró (above, beginning work) has returned from Italy to continue carving The Annunciation sculpture for the oratory. The sculpture is now about half completed, he says.

All Saints Party in La Piazza
