Jackson Labs Officials in Naples Next Week

The CEO of the Jackson Laboratory, along with other top managers, will be in the Naples area next week to discuss the organization's plans to build a biomedical research facility near Ave Maria. State funding for the project continues to work its way through the legislature.

Local councils of the Knights of Columbus honored AMU founder Tom Monaghan Tuesday night at a dinner at the Queen Mary Pub. The councils presented Mr. Monaghan with a plaque featuring a quote from a boyhood mentor, Sister Berarda (in picture, left).

Collier County Commssioners Support Jackson Labs Facility

Commissioners said Monday they could come up witht he $130 million in matching funds that will be needed to bring the facility to a location near Ave Maria.
