Bean of Ave Maria Packed for Founders Club Meeting

The first Ave Maria Founders Club meeting of the new term drew a capacity crowd to The Bean to hear a talk by Dr. Bira Rezende, a politics and business professor at AMU, on the Catholic perspective on socialism. The next founders club will feature literature professor and author Joseph Pearce Sept. 28.

AMU Women's Soccer Team Starts Season with Win

Freshman Shawna Manchette scored twice and Beth Greve and Eliza Scarnecchia added a goal each as AMU beat Johnson and Wales 4-1 Tuesday in Miami. The women's next game is their home opener Sept. 14 against Palm Beach Atlantic.

Karate Studio Looks Forward to Continuing Growth
