Collier Family Farms will be hosting a Grand Opening event from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 26 on their farm in Ave Maria. The event will feature an official ribbon cutting at 1 pm with County Commissioner Tim Nance and Barron Collier Companies representatives, free reusable shopping bags to the first 50 visitors, special grand opening coupons, and live music from 11:00 am to 1:00pm.

12:00pm "Why Buy Organic" farm talk by Micki Kang, registered dietician and licensed nutritionist

Collier Family Farms is located on 12 acres in eastern Collier County, within the development of Ave Maria. With a focus on locally-grown, pesticide-free, non-GMO produce and citrus, Collier Family Farms offers a variety of fruits and vegetables for sale in a farmstand as well as u-pick. The farm stand will feature cucumbers, Swiss chard, collard greens, herbs and local citrus for sale during its grand opening.
