The next meeting of the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District board is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, at 9 a.m. in the offices of the Ave Maria Master Association (also the fitness center) in the town center.

The AMSCD is a special-purpose board responsible primarily for Ave Maria town infrastructure such as roads, storm drainage and irrigation. Its meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month, when there is business that needs the board's attention, and are open to the public. 

Ave Maria Dance Academy's 5th annual dance recital 'Broadway Bound' will be held at 1 pm Saturday, May 18 at Palmetto Ridge H.S. (Oil Well Rd.) Over 100 dancers in a variety of dance styles will perform to classical Broadway Songs including "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast "Ease on Down the Road" from The Wiz, "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera, "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" from Annie, "Jellicle Cats" from Cats and so much more! Julian Gonzalez, a piano major at Florida State University, will perform a concert paying tribute to great composers Friday, May 31, at 8 p.m. in the private dining room of the Ave Maria University student union.

Mr. Gonzalez, the son of Don and Mary Stuller, will play works by Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Brahms, Rachmaninoff and Bortkiewicz.
