 Students in Ave Maria Universiity's Shakespeare in Performance class will stage five performances this week of As You Like It -- trying to remain as true as possible to many aspects of how the comedy would have been performed originally. Arthrex Officially Breaks Ground on New Ave Maria Plant

 Gov. Rick Scott and Arthrex CEO Reinhold Schmeiding (above, with Gov. Scott’s 5-month-old grandson Auguste) were among hundreds who gathered Monday morning at the site of the medical device maker’s new manufacturing plant in Ave Maria, which is scheduled to open in about a year.

AMU Athletes Train as Crew for Balloon Festival

 Members of the Ave Maria University football team, and some other students, learned how to crew for hot-air balloons Wednesday. The students will help inflate, launch and recover balloons at the "Balloons Over Paradise" festival Saturday and Sunday at the Immokalee airport.

Scholarship Fund Established in Memory of AMU Graduate

County Commissioners Approve Review of Ave Maria Fiscal Impact Findings

Collier County commissioners have approved spending up to $25,000 for an independent third-party review of findings that showed Ave Maria had a net positive economic impact on the county during a five-year period that ended in 2010.
