Ave Maria Law Students Spend Day Volunteering

More than 200 students at the Ave Maria School of Law spent Thursday volunteering at various sites in the Naples area as part of the school's annual community service project.

Another Partner Announced for Jackson Lab Biomedical Park

The California-based company Athleticode, which uses genetic tests to identify and reduce the risk of athletic injuries, says it will partner with the Jackson Laboratory at the proposed research park near Ave Maria. Athleticode is the first for-profit company announced as part of the planned development.

New Statues Installed at the Ave Maria Oratory

Statues of the Blessed Mother and the Infant Jesus of Prague were installed Tuesday in niches to the left (Mary) and right (Infant of Prague) of the oratory doors. The statues join those of the 12 apostles over the doors.

Oprah Show Featuring Dominican Sisters Will Replay Aug. 16, 17

The Oprah Winfrey Show that featured the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist -- some of whom teach in Ave Maria -- will be shown again next week. In Ave Maria, the program will be broadcast Monday, Aug. 16, at 4 p.m. on Channel 5 and Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 9 a.m. on Channel 6.
