Jackson Lab Referendum Still Unlikely

Collier County residents should not expect a referendum on the Jackson Lab project despite the victory in the Tuesday District 2 primary election by Georgia Hiller, who is in favor of one, the Naples Daily News reports. Three other members of the five-member board rejected a referendum at the commissioners' last meeting. Click for story from Naples Daily News
Ave Maria University Will Explore Role of Religion in Science

There will be seminars and lectures open to the public later this year at Ave Maria that will examine moral and other issues raised by the proximity of the proposed Jackson Labs research park, AMU President Nick Healy said Thursday night in his welcoming address to new students.
