Ave Maria University is holding a half-day symposium Friday, Sept. 20, honoring Michael Novak for his 80th birthday.

The keynote address at 5 p.m. will be delivered by noted author George Weigel, a talk titled: "Michael Novak: An American Catholic Contribution."
