Catholic author and theologian Michael Novak drew a crowd of more than 100 residents, faculty and students to the Ave Maria University lecture hall Tuesday night for an address on Entering the Presence of God.
Mr. Novak, who has been a member of the AMU Board of Trustees since its inception, is teaching a mini course at the university and will be on campus for the next several weeks.
He spoke Tuesday at the monthly meeting of the local chapter of the Ave Maria Founders Club.
National Founders Director Catherine Dailey announced that Carlos Figueroa, who has headed the local chapter since it began two years ago, was stepping down. In his place, a team of residents will take over.
