Job-Hunting Workshop Monday for Residents and Students

Finding a job is tough in today's economy, for students as well as experienced professionals.
Advice on job-hunting strategies will be available Monday night, Feb. 1, in a workshop at Ave Maria University with career coach Therese Marie Boldt. The workshop is open to students, alumni and town residents.
Ms. Boldt is the author of Yes! You Can Land a Job...(Even) in a Crummy Economy. The university says her workshop will address:
- Learning new and effective ways to land a job
- Developing results-oriented job search strategies.
- Developing an effective personal presentation and 30-second "commercial."
- Designing a networking strategy
The workshop will be held in the lecture hall of the academic building from 7 - 8:30 p.m. and is open to all. Admission is free for students and alumni, with a $5 registration fee for residents. Attendees will be able to purchase Ms. Boldt's book at half off the list price of $14.95.
