Teresa Lester, one of Ave Maria's first residents, died Monday night surrounded by friends and family. She had been ill with cancer for some time. Her funeral Mass will be at the oratory Saturday, May 23, at 1 p.m.
Teresa was 35 and leaves her husband, Joe, and four children: Ambrose, 11; Elijah, 10; Francis, 8 and Kateri, 5
The Lesters lived in Ave Maria since the summer of 2007, staying in a condo in the town center while their home in Emerson Park was finished.

There will be a reception in Ave Maria following the burial at The Bean.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the Lesters ask that tokens of support be made to the Joseph Lester Family Scholarship Fund at the Donahue Academy. Checks should be made out to the Donahue Academy.
