New York businessman Peter J. Striano, who owns industrial lighting company Unity International Group, donated the lighting and its installation. He is pictured here (left) with his wife, Caroline and Mr. Monaghan.
Care was taken, Mr. Striano said, to make the lighting as inconspicuous as possible. Lights for the niches holding the statues of the apostles in the front of the church were fabricated by hand, he said, to match the stone of the oratory.
