Dr. Dinan to Receive Laub-Novak Award Feb. 27

Dr. Andrew Dinan, a popular professor of Classics at Ave Maria University, has been named as 2015's second recipient of the Laub-Novak Award for excellence in teaching.
The award is a private initiative of author Michael Novak and is named for Mr. Novak's late wife, the artist Karen Laub-Novak.
The Award ceremony will take place at the private dining room of the AMU student union at 7 pm Feb. 27. Classical entertainment and light refreshments will be included, along with tributes to Professor Dinan by some of his former and current students. All students, colleagues and town residents are welcome to attend!
Two other recipients have been announced for award ceremonies later this Spring. They are Catherine Pakaluk (Economics) and Blanford Parker (Literature). Awards carry with them a $1,000 prize. The dates for their awards are March 20 and April 10, respectively. The first recipient this year was Politics professor Seana Sugrue.
