Laura Mastandrea of Ave Maria has been named to the Naples Daily News all-area soccer team, the only player from Palmetto Ridge High School to receive the honor.
The Naples Daily News selects players to the team by polling coaches at 14 public and private high schools in Collier and Lee counties.
Laura has been named to the Collier County Athletic Conference first team for her last two seaons at Palmetto Ridge.
She was heavily recruited to play soccer at a number of colleges, and has chosen to play for Ave Maria University this fall.
