The Donahue Shamrocks continued their undefeated season Friday night, advancing to the state 7-man football semi finals with a decisive 58-22 win over visiting Lakeside at North Park in Ave Maria.
The Donahue offense dominated the first half, scoring on all sixe of its possessions.
John Longely threw for three touchdowns -- two of them to Matt Houde and one to Luke Scheck, who also scored on an interception return..
John Hurley ran for a TD and Joe Deliso ran for a score.
In addition to his interception touchdown return, Scheck also had 10 tackles on defense. Cale Schneider had 6 tackles and 2 sacks. John Hurley, Albert Mathieu, Anthony Altamari and Dominic Allan each added a sack.
Donahue's semi-final game will be in two weeks at home, with details on the time and opponent to be determined.
