Donahue Rolls to 44-8 Win

Donahue Academy was impressive on both sides of the ball Saturday, beating Community Christian 44-8 at North Park in Ave Maria.
John Hurley threw his first TD pass, 80 yards to Dominic Allan, and added a rushing TD. Elias Allan scored a rushing TD and added a two point conversion. John Longely, Lane Lawe and JP Klucik added rushing TD's. Albert Matthews returned an interception for a TD.
Anthony Altamari, Albert Matthews and JP Klucik had interceptions. Luke Scheck, Cale Schneider and Mark Scheck recovered fumbles. John Hurley led the defense with 7 tackles and JP Klucik added 4.5.
"This was a terrific game by all who played," said Coach Rich Scanlon. "We look forward to hosting Masters Academy next Saturday night at North Park. If we win Donahue will win the Conference and an automatic first round bye in the playoffs with the opportunity to host the second round playoff game."
