Donahue Academy defeated a strong Nicea Academy team 46-34 Saturday night at North Park. It was the Shamrocks second straight win and they are undefeated so far in the young 7-man football season.
Matt Houde scored 3 receiving touchdowns. Albert Mathieu added 2 rushing TD's, Lane Lawe and John Hurley added rushing TD's. John Longely threw for 147 yards and 3 TD's. Dominic Allan led the defense with 5 tackles and 4 assists and Luke Scheck added an interception.
"It was a well played game by everyone and we look forward to next Saturday night's home game against Lakeside," said coach Rich Scanlon.
